Subang Jaya, 16 January 2024 – Encouraged by the overwhelming response for Phase 1 of its Casa Embun project, fast-rising property developer Avaland Berhad (Avaland), formerly known as MCT Berhad, recently launched Phase 2 of its award-winning Casa Embun development in its Cybersouth township in Dengkil. More than 300 purchasers thronged the Cybersouth Sales Village as the launch was held together with Avaland’s Cybersouth Carnival, organized for the township’s community.

Avaland launched the first phase of Casa Embun in January 2022 and within twelve months, Avaland achieved a take-up rate of more than 85% for the first phase of Casa Embun. Against that backdrop, Avaland decided to launch Phase 2 of Casa Embun which epitomises peaceful living with 11.2 acres of tranquil living space and secured the StarProperty Awards 2023 in The Starter Home Award - Best Primary Home Development (High-Rise) category, and GreenRE bronze certification for its sustainability features.

With prices starting from RM250,000, these residential units come in 2 distinct layouts of either 2 rooms + 1 bath or 3 rooms + 2 baths. Phase 2 of Casa Embun has a gross development value (GDV) of RM202 million, bringing the development’s overall GDV to RM408 million.

Casa Embun comes complete with family-friendly facilities such as a multipurpose pavilion for family gatherings with BBQ facilities and outdoor dining, a themed playground, a 25-meter swimming pool and children’s wading pool, a gymnasium overlooking the pool, sports facilities such as futsal and badminton courts, a 0.9-km jogging path and EV charging facilities at the carpark amongst many other facilities.

Speaking on the Group’s sales performance for 2023 and its target moving forward, Pol said, “2023 was a milestone year for Avaland as we successfully rebranded ourselves as Avaland and we are now back in the black. We also managed to secure sales with a GDV of RM586 million. We believe 2024 will be a very exciting year for Avaland as we are targeting to achieve RM700- 800 million worth of sales which will be supported by our ongoing projects and our upcoming launches such as Aetas Seputeh, Amika Residences and Anja Bangi which have a combined GDV of RM1.3 billion. In addition, we arelooking forward to a strong year of growth in our bottom-line for 2024, underpinned by our robust unbilled sales of RM863 million as at 31 December 2023,”

“We are now also upgrading some of the facilities at Cybersouth in view of the changes in lifestyle and community needs. It is part of Avaland’s continuous effort to enhance the safety, accessibility and wellbeing aspects of the township for the benefit of the community,” shared Pol. Plans to launch more commercial and landed properties in Cybersouth are also in the pipeline.

The Cybersouth Carnival held during the launch included fun activities, DIY workshops & refreshments. Participants enjoyed the family-friendly highlights such as a petting zoo, a parrot farm, game stalls and food trucks.

Cybersouth is a vibrant township developed by Avaland in the southern corridor of Klang Valley which is set to be the new growth corridor to Cyberjaya, Putrajaya and KLIA.
